The Every Letter Project is a print exchange where 26 27 designers come together to make something fancy to support literacy. Each participant designs, carves (in linoleum) and letterpress-prints a letter of the alphabet, creating a complete set of letters. Each complete edition is then sold and the proceeds go to benefit 826 Seattle, a nonprofit writing and tutoring center. (Oh, and each designer gets a set as well).
I am currently looking for designers who are interested in joining in. If you’re interested, send an email to vm(at)evanmade(dot)com. Be sure to list which letters you are interested in and include a link to your portfolio and your twitter or dribbble or something else like that.
A heads up: this will be a lino-cut project. Each letter will be a two-color print and each participant will be responsible to carve and print their own letter. Paper will be provided. Format is square. Size to be announced.
